Not every job needs a full reskim. If the damage is in one place, we repair that area and blend it into the wall around it so it disappears once painted.

When you need it

How we do it
- Loose plaster is cut back to a sound edge.
- Deeper holes are filled in layers.
- The patch is finished flush with the wall around it and the edges feathered in.

Will the repair show once it's painted?
The aim is for it not to. We finish the patch flush with the surrounding wall and feather the edges in so it blends in once painted.
Is it worth reskimming the whole wall instead?
If a wall has lots of patches, cracks or old repairs, a full reskim often gives a better finish. If it's close, we'll give you a price for both.
